Some Things Can't Be Hidden
Sep. 30th, 2023 12:11 amWhat are we? Prompt 24 face turning red when they get too close
Syn had brought them all together for the evening. It was exciting that they were all sitting around and writing their own music for the first time. Joey sat there with his bass writing lines to follow along a guitar line Davy was playing around with. It had emotions to it and Syn was trying to find words to the lines. Sam drummed lightly on the seat to find the rhythm.
Syn's words turned to dirty accusation of what Davy did in his bedroom. Joey started to laugh so hard that his bass line went awry as Davy shoved their singer. Sam felt himself giggling as the other three started teasing each other about lovers and escapades. Songwriting had been put aside for teasing. Of course it turned to talk of the incident in the elevator and then the cuffs. Then asking if Syn had gotten drunk with Ivar in private yet.
Someone came in and Davy looked up first. Soon, Joey was following his gaze and began giggling again. Sam was distracted but finally looked up to see Heikki walking in and toward the bar. When the Finn smiled Sam's whole face flushed pink as the flowers on the vest he was wearing. His eyes followed Heikki who only said hello but that was too much. Sam hid in his hair but kept glancing at the Finnish bassist.
“Oh... you got it bad.” Syn giggled.
“Didn't he hang out with you?” Joey asked.
The questions just turned Sam redder in the face. Davy set his guitar down to go and talk to Heikki leaving Sam to worry that he would be scolding Heikki. To his suprise it sounded like Davy was talking about something unrelated. All that did was encourage the others to tease him more.
“So...” Joey leaned in to whisper. “Has he been in your flowery bed yet?”
Sam's jaw dropped. “NO!” His voice high and squealing from shock.
“I bet you want to.” Joey teased more.
Syn started to laugh. “Is he a good kisser? He's got nice lips.”
Sam couldn't help but look over at Heikki talking to the guitarist. The blonde drummer might be shy but the Finn was sexy. He felt his heart hammering and his cheeks heat up again when he thought about snuggling with him on the couch. A moment of wanting that again raised up in Sam before Syn shook him.
“Hey!” Syn giggled. “You're going to burn a hole in his pants.”
“I wasn't looking at his pants!” Sam finally turned back to his bandmates. He had been starting hard at Heikki.
“He was staring at his lips.” Joey made a kissy face to accent his accusations before Sam pushed him right off the stool, bass and all.
Davy started back over as Heikki left the room but all of City Charms saw the way the Finn and their drummer smiled at each other. They both had it bad.
“Come on. Let's get back to writing.” Davy tried to herd the younger members to get them back on task.
